I have somewhat severe ADHD and i have no medication or therapy or anything at all for it.
I have been homeless and i have often dealt with police for stuff like drunk disorder, carrying weapons in public, poaching, shoplifting and arson. Overall i have little control of my life and i'm a NEET at a moment.

What it does is basically that it makes you unfit to live normally in modern society.

You forget important things, you're always late from school, work, meetings, etc., you either can't concentrate and anything can throw you to do something completely irrelevant or your mind is in a flow state and pretty much blind to anything else, your actions are impulsive and planning ahead even simple things is hard.

Here about 2% of adult population has it and they make something like 70% of convict prisoners, 30% of them are unemployed (compared to ~9% of the total population) and 40% has problems with alcohol and/or drugs at some point of life.

I've been down the dark and lonely road of severe mental illness without treatment, its sadly very common for the people that need help the most to not know it or not want it and often misguided self-medication makes it even worse. If you can get on the right meds and learn how to cope with your illness and the language of psychiatry it can get a lot better. don't let the normals and their antiquated ideas and stigmas about mental health get to you, they just cant imagine what its like for people because they only see the surface symptoms

I'm not eating the pills i tried it when i was about 10-11 and all it did was that it killed my creativity. I even graduated as a crafts artisan and i very much doubt that would've been the case if kept eating those.
