Is the concept of “you” continuous or does past “you” continually fade into present and future “you”? In other words, what part of “you” sticks around over time considering that the atoms that make up your body are constantly being replaced and your memories are always changing?

the most I can think of is that ideas or thoughts made during your more emotional times,ie teens or early adults are usually what stick with you along with traumatic events or any times where you felt strong emotions, even then they do change, I think how much depends on the person though

This issue is kind of why I believe in God. Logically if you're an atheist you must (imo) adopt the extreme view of mereological nihilism and say that no composite wholes truly exist AT ALL. Obviously this is absurd since it contradicts pretty much everything we can observe. So then you must accept that composite wholes not only exist but they are even "more real" than the building blocks themselves. Only now you have to wonder how the fuck that is even possible since it's all made of completely identical shit. SO basically all matter is a blank canvas with which God paints whatever he wills onto.

This seems to be according to B-theory of time. I reject that notion of time, so no.

The pattern in the body & brain "sticks" around, but is malleable and fluid as you make a note of.
