/b/ is pretty much its own thing by now. It doesn't grow as much as it used to, but it's filled with people that have been hanging around there for years, don't have a clue what it used to be, and don't have a clue how shit goes down on most of the rest of 4chan either. That's what really interests me. How isolated some of the boards are from eachother. I doubt very much that a board like /mu/ has much crossover with /pol/. Completely different worlds probably, each their own ecosystem.
