Seriously, is there a more pro Western, simple, and magnificent movie like LOTR?
Every character was unique and had depth.
It was my childhood movie as it was for many others.
As a kid
>I thought Aragorn was unstoppable
>Legolas's skill with a bow was unmatched
>Gimli was hilarious but badass at the same time
>I saw Gandalf as a father figure or mini deity knowing most things in the world
>Boromirir represented our flaws as men like pride and lust for power
>Sam was the bravest
>Sauroman was an asshole and I truly wanted him dead
>Frodo being the most selfless taking the burden upon himself

I can probably recite every line of all 3 movies now. I still get pumped up when the elves arrive at helms deep. I still get chills when Elrond gives Aragorn Anduril. And I still cry when Frodo leaves for the Valinor.

On top of all this, there are no faggots, niggers or Jews. Rather a white man shouting
"Stand, men of the West!"
