the US spends 16 to 17% of it's GDP annually on "health" and they still manage to have a worse protection than in almost every OCDE countries.
I don't fear disease, unemployment or injuries that much because I know that, if one day I happened to have a 5 figure bill to pay each month to live, I would only have to pay a tiny fraction of it without having to take some ludicrous high-interest loan just to survive...
If I don't get a job, I know that I will at least have enough to survive and eventually get back on my feet, with two years-worth of basic sustenance guaranteed. And my country only spends 11% of its GDP on health...
What I really don't understand is why don't people just revolt from this stupid system, take their goddamn guns that they have lying around and force the guys at the top to actually care about them...
