I have no problem with science, but crazies will mythologize their heros and turn them into pseudo-prophets. We live off of stories and worldviews, inner narratives. Its real in the sense people believe it, just like blacks being afraid of the cops believe and 'feel' it. Nothing holds up though in the end. You just have to identify whats nihilistic and counterproductive and whats productive and wholesome and defend the latter.
