i read this entire paul elam post. His theory does have merit. As I read about how Andrea Dworkin built her career on the foundations of hating men for being the so called "pigs" she makes them all out to be, and hating attractive women, ugly women's primary, sexual competition, I could not help but make connections to my own personal, social life.
i speculate that a female acquaintance of mine, both a self proclaimed narcissist and a feminist, has rape fantasies: she constantly brags about how attractive she is and how much attention she gets when wearing promiscuous clothing, while simultaneously complaining about how men stare and rape her in their minds.
