I see one of the largest countries on Earth have a population below that of Italy which is almost 6 times smaller. I see a country in where there is vast untamed wilderness completely depopulated with the vast majority of the people living in compact cities. I see a country which needs to import food since it cannot grow enough for itself even with its small population size and availability of the needed farmland. I see a nation with vast mineral wealth, with seas teaming with fish ready to be caught, farmland waiting to be farmed, and land ready to be developed but neglected not to. I see a country with no real military, a country with an unarmed populace, a country neglecting the idea of defense.
Now, I see another country. I country which has literally ran out of space to live. A country which has a self-sustaining economy, a country which doesn't rely on others for a source of food. I see a country that has very little mineral wealth, increasingly outstripped farmland, and a country with oceans completely depopulated of fish. I see a country yearning to expand. I see a country with a militarist population and a never-ending supply of guns, ammo, and manpower. A country which is looking south for a new place to live.
Admit it, we and Britain are the only reason you're not overrun. But, Britain is killing itself and America will retreat into isolationism once again. You have a real problem coming up on your hands.
