I have no idea of his ethnicity, but based on pictures of him, I'll just assume he's german.
The grandpa I know was my grandma's third husband and a very good grandpa.
Unfortunately he worked all his life at a VW engine factory and smoked a lot (unfiltered cigarettes), so he died of cancer over 10 years ago.
