and cleanup is about the same as vigorously scrubbing your pan. at least for my pot technique, idk what deep fryer cleanup is like.
>>5257257that's dumb. might as well say vegetables are vegan so you don't eat those. i don't eat falafel to avoid meat, i eat it because it's tasty and cheap. also it's not perishable. you can keep a bag of chickpeas in your pantry for a year, you can't do that with minced meat, you have to freeze it.

>>5257283well i strictly deep fry shit only for tendies, fries and meatballs (and falafel) and when i have to prepare a large amount. and i never got the impression those were any nastier or oilier than if i pan fry them. and it's way more convenient for me, i hate standing over the pan and flipping them.
obviously for stuff like stir fries and eggs i'd use the pan tho.
