I can jump in my car and drive across the border within an hour and a half whenever I want and I don't need a visa. That's pretty hospitable for a foreign country. I'll drive to any location and find good, friendly people all along the way. When I've been driving for a long time and I need gas and coffee, more often than not, I'll be told to just take the coffee because I look tired; no charge. Hell, take another for the road. I've been to about 16 states and still haven't seen the Ugly American. I'll keep looking, though. Surely, there's a very large pocket of deplorables that'll rob and shoot me on site. Until then, I'll enjoy my visits and appreciate the breathtaking landscapes, impressive cities and friendly people.
