>>5285360I don't think the "only friends" thing is as insidious as you're implying. Sometimes you want a bit of companionship without the commitment. As I've gotten older I've learned that relationships can be a lot of fucking work and very time consuming.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of relationships anymore, at least not with most women, most are needy and demanding, most want all your free time, most want you to be accountable and explain yourself at all times, it's honestly just "tiring" to reduce it to a single word.
Now I'm much more content having "just friends" or fuckbuddies or whatever you want to call it where I can call the girl up, watch a movie or eat some dinner, fuck, and go our separate ways afterwards without any commitment, responsibility, or obligation.
