Right now I'm growing nasturtiums in my kitchen garden area to plant out in front. I really like them, the shape of the leaves and the way they kind of sway in the breeze. Informal ground cover.
I've got some cosmos seeds but I haven't planted those yet. More informal, cheerful summer flowers.

Everyone in my family but me has a green thumb so I'm trying. I'll go take some pictures right now but I've got four tomato plants sprouting from some seeds I scooped out of a grocery store roma tomato. I'm proud that I just got the seeds to germinate and sprout in the first place but I think im FUCKING it UP because I transplanted to each a pot that they're going to outgrow in a short while so I'm hoping they can handle the stress of being transplanted a third (and hopefully final) time

I live in zone 8a so I'm wondering if it's still too late to grow some bebbers (peppers)

I'm a southwestfag I planted some tomatoes in February and a
recent dust storm killed all but one of them. My velvet ash trees
are growing great though I planted 3 from seeds in January and
they are about 5 inches tall now.

I dont know where that 5th sprout came from which was kind of interesting but I just culled it anyway. This is a week old pic though, I think I took it 4-5 days before I transplanted them into individual planters

Thanks. This is what they look like now, I transplanted some deeper than others because I really wasn't paying attention to what I was doing; some of them seem to be doing fine and others seem to be a little aberrant but I'm going to keep patient and see. Made these stupid little self-watering planters out of powerade bottles & paracord but I'm going to have to get some real 5gal planters and some real stakes soon because they're going to outgrow those toothpicks and the bottles in no time flat.

I'm looking at 4 cacti that are at least 15 years old and I've never water them. I went through a cactus stage and I've carried these fucks around with me everywhere and they just manage to survive sitting above my radiator. I often dry clothes on the radiator so I wonder whether it is the condensation and moist air that is enough for them.

i don't have pics because someone stole my last phone but i've grown cacti, oak and even a pine tree. Once the plantlets were big enough i take them to their natural habitat and planted them there. I've never tried growing crops.

It's dark here but I can tommorow if this is still up. Flowers, food, herbs all kinds of stuff. It's not it's time yet though so it'll just look like a lot of green.
