>>5336800Two have already come. One may be here now., but who knows who that is. It might be Soros, Merkel, or perhaps it isn't just a person, but rather a group. The EU?
The false prophet was Muhammad.
The anti-christ was Karl Marx.
Who, then, might be our whore of Babylon? Whore makes me tempted to think it a woman, but whore is also used to refer to someone who is merely the obedient servant of another, Babylon being a biblical term used as a catchall for any kingdom that biblical authors wished to label to be evil.
Remember: the apocalypse is probably not a singular event. It is a long, long battle, whose climax ends with the return of Christ according to scripture. That return is not necessarily literal, but rather it may mean, as I think it does, that someone will emerge to stand in the way of this evil, and this time they will win, and win forever (or until the next cycle a thousand years later, anyway).
These things are not easy to understand, in part because prophecy never comes clearly to seers. They never quite see exactly what happens, but rather are flooded with images that have meanings, meanings they then have to interpret. That means it is impossible to know entirely what is going to happen, assuming the works of Revelation are truly prophetic.
I don't think it matters either way. This battle is far bigger than the bible. Far, far bigger. It's been going on since the beginning. Our apocalypse is just one battle on one world. If the side of good wins, then man is saved. If evil wins, man will be enslaved and damned for all eternity, or until we die out.
