Quality of life is probably better in rural areas.
Education is shitty all over but pretty standardized at this point.
Don't know why people think "city people" are somehow smarter or superior for living in a tiny box in those ant-hives.
Its the opposite if my experience has taught me anything.
Though its obvious why they* promote those negative stereotypes and have for along time.
The negative stereotypes used to be the other way around (city slickers) but over time they've cracked away at it and certainly reversed it so newer generations have bought their anti-rural propaganda and forget what they are supposed to be loyal to.
