I think it's because he's afraid of losing control over her, with some weird psychosexual mindset, and as she gets more independent the treatment just gets worse and worse. When I'm around him I get the weird feeling that he's "jealous" of me. It's fucking weird. Any dad that behaves like op pic and my gf's dad has some serious psychological issues and is completely unstable. No reasonable, well adjusted person would ever act so controlling and narcissistic.
