Also it reminded of a story:
A 60 or so old man was interviewed about his thoughts on US Soldiers in (South) Korea, he told them he had nothing but good experiences as they were usually kind and brought good business.
He was then asked about his experiences with them, he then told them the story of his childhood when he was playing in the ruined streets and an American soldier came up to him and gave him something to eat, when he did he realized later it was his first taste of chocolate.
It’s good to remember all the good things the Americans did while they were there.
