From what I gather kids now are extremely conformist and love laws and social protocol more than say, Gen X'ers or millennials, even.
Also, it's extremely expensive to smoke cigarettes and wages are flat. Wages will decrease and taxes will increase to support the influx of 3rd world people.
At least alcohol is sill cheap! I don't think society could manage without it at this point.
