I’m only 18 so I haven’t talked to anyone from the states, but in my province most people go through a phase of being overly self conscience of who they are and what image they put of themselves online to the point where they’re straight up lying about themselves. I went through it when I was ~14 but when I deleted all my accounts it felt like a burden was lifted from my shoulders and I wasn’t concerned about what people thought of me anymore.
