Genetically speaking, there isn't much difference between modern Greeks and modern Turks. But that's because the people who inhabit Anatolia were once largely Greeks and Anatolian natives who got subjugated by Seljuk Turks.
I think that if you accept Greeks as white, it's difficult to exclude the Turks.
