/pol/ is now occupied by nupol aka reddit. /bant/ has nothing in common with /pol/. Any apparent xover is a result of mods moving OT /pol/ threads here, which is fucking scandalous to be honest. /pol/ shitposting/slide threads are still designed with the nupol audience in mind. They're tuned to the subfrequency of nupol board culture, so they really get under the skin of the kekistandicapped retards on that board. It's clear after only a couple of weeks that those threads just don't belong on /bant/. They may as well be posted to /biz/ or /o/.
I'm seriously disgusted by what the mods are doing here. The site has seen a massive increase in traffic in the last year, almost exclusively to /pol/. Hiromoot has obviously been seduced by the surge in users and, instead of retaliating against the subversion of a board by a foreign culture, he's taken steps to preserve the circlejerk going on there. Basically, if you post anything that might upset a donald faggot, you get slid, or banned, or your thread gets moved here.
So, while many of us oldfags thought we were being given a new board to develop, we were actually being presented with a trash folder for /pol/.
If I had my way, live frogs would be banned on this board.
