(Imagine the government becomes extremist and you are ordered to defend it against Aussies protesting against it.) If you publicly say anything political you will be discharged (depending on severity). I have nothing against joining. I tried to join myself. I smashed every test and was ready to become an officer cadet. Then they found out that I tried to hang myself when I was 17. Flat out rejection right there. Fair enough. I can understand their reasoning.
But yeah. Just know you ARE signing away some of your rights. You must be a-political after you join. If you understand and accept that, then join
