Nations are immediately abolished and national government as well, to make way for the new world government in Star Trek fashion. Rapid technology development with scientists from all over the world joining in, and the creation of war-free zones in which weapons and war activities are abolished (and can be enforced by outlying security zones), simultaneously create global defense and security zones to keep peace and order outside (and inside) of these peace zones. Economically it would also be Star Trek style (full completely realized economic Communism) in which there is no money and the goal is a post-scarcity global society.
