I understand most of these references (Mongolian ancestry, those leaves that Finnish people use to hit their backs while they're in the sauna, "sisu" which is the Finnish mindset of being calm and strong in the face of adversity or something, mämmi which is a Finnish desert, and of course Moomins. And Nokia. And the elves' boots from Lapland.)
I don't know what Terva is though, and I'm guessing you won something in ice hockey in 1995? Although I know ice hockey is big there. And I don't know what those words on the map are, but I assume they relate to Finnish expansionist desires, given the outward pointing arrows. Also I don't know what "terva" and "kossu" are.
