for the obscure caribbean islands I know it's 3 saints and 2 X & Y and the rest comes naturally like antigua and barbuda > barbuda > barbados
for central asia it's KKTUT going clockwise from Kazakhstan and ending with Turkmenistan which is closest to Turkey, this way I can even tell each other apart in a map
africa is not that hard, I just clump them together, like if I remember uganda i'll automatically remember uganda & rwanda & burundi and if I remember togo i'll authomatically remember togo, ghana, benin & burkina faso, it all comes instantly
the pacific ones I have some difficulty because they are so similar, I just know there are 5 short worded ones (palau, samoa, tonga, nauru, fiji) and 3 long worded ones (vanuatu, kiribati, tuvao), sometimes I forget but it's a matter of not trying too hard and it eventually comes to mind
