It was a slightly different experience than 2 gameplay-wise, mostly due to the low gravity jumps and Mario butt slamming. It also had Laser guns which were new, but you know how guns in that game work. There are a million combinations yet somehow all the guns feel identical.

Lots of collectibles and side quests to do, I played through it twice I think on one character and once on a different class. As others have mentioned there is the same faggoty writing that you can picture the thick framed glasses and dyed hair and fat rolls of the female writers.

pre seq was genuinely bad

the new mechanics are gimmcky and the giant maps are really tedious after awhile

doesnt help that the terrain gets monotonous too

theres a lack of likeable characters too

It changed some small details in the combat (new laser weapons, new cryo element, no more slag, low gravity environments, double jumps, slam attacks) and has new classes to play (though none are as fun as Kreig) but besides that, it looks and plays almost exactly like BL2.

It introduces some new characters (all of which are voiced by Australians) and gives a backstory for Jack and his henchmen. The overarching story is okay but the writing is in classic gearbox style, if you could sit through BL2, you should be able to sit through TPS.
