His owner, a marine, found him half starved walking down the road when he got home from deployment. Anyway, one day, this dog wasn't a little asshole like most little dogs. One day while the Marines kids were playing in the back yard, the dog goes bugfuck. A cougar steps out of the bushes ready to pounce on the kids. Dog is having none of this. Little fucker faces the big cat down, barking and lunging (all 8 pounds of him). Marine comes flying out the back door as the kids are screaming. Sees mini Kujo dodging swipes from cat, turns and grabs rifle off wall and takes aim. Dog misses a dodge and goes flying across the yard. Marine shoots cat and it dies. Mini Kujo pops up, limps over, pisses on cat and positions himself between kids and dead cat, growling. Owner brings him into the office for a check up, turns out his back leg is broken. Never yelped, never whimpered while we set the bone and splinted leg. Made a full recovery. Dog was a beast. Should have been born a 100lb shepherd, not a lap dog.
