I took a couple of huge rips of 5meodmt and holy shit dudes. I immediately thought I was dying. Like I went thru all of the stages of death in 10 seconds. Once I accepted it, it felt like time stopped, all the separation in the universe was gone. I was experiencing everything that ever happened, is happening and will happen.

I’m convinced this state of mind is what the ancients called god.

I definitely went through the feeling of death, and like my body was decaying before my eyes. Didn't share the next part though. I saw great beams of light coming down from the sky and wrapping around my body. Later I saw the machine elves, who looked like pixelated things running around a forest of geometric columns or tree trunks. They felt very playful and friendly, though I cannot say for certain they were external entities like some people claim.

There's also some incredible geometry you visualize unlike anything I've ever seen in waking life, and probably could not be reproduced in any other medium. It's an interesting experience, but not a gateway to enlightenment

The basic mix of B. Caapi + P. Viridis is but a base mix. Many different plant ingredients are used in order to achieve a desired goal.

Psychedelics can delude you with false enlightenment, but they definitely have their uses. DMT is useful especially for being able to give you a simulation of being on the verge of death, which gave me the resolve to work on facing the true experience without cowardice, and can renew your will to live for a week or two (or however long you can push it) just by virtue of seeing how frightening all time and thought ceasing truly is to the average mind.

If I take a higher dose then the mandala opens and you get sucked through the tunnel, or so I've heard. But that isn't necessarily the breakthrough, right?

You can compare smoking DMT to smoking Salvia..it is not the proper way of doing it.

Salvia is meant to be chewed as a quid, DMT is meant to be taken via ayahuasca.

There is a reason the people of the amazon basin have been taking ayahuasca for more than 100,000 years in the same way.

When I was in Canada I lived with a guy who smoked DMT four times in his life. He confirmed that the mechanical elves are a real apparition that people see. He also said he could see himself from above, like a 3rd person. I'd be interested to try it at some point.

We can agree on our experiences with drugs as we can agree in our environment. Probably demons in disguise. I've done Aya amd 5-meo-dmt a lot and encountered these creatures. They occur in different forms based on wheter you take aya or pure dmt but I suspect they are the same.

You get this clear malicous and subverting vibe on aya from them and you just know what they are.

In reality it was like it fight club where he imagines himself watching from across the room. I was dreaming in a sleep state with opened eyes.

You do need a sitter in case you need to get to the bathroom and what not. You don't want to walk around on ayahuasca, you may fall.
You don't want to listen to classical music or tribal stuff, it greatly enhances the experience.

You pretty much fucked the extraction, you're supposed to deliver the solvent in a corner of the precipitation dish so that if some of the mix gets also sucked you can simply lean the dish on its side and wipe the mix off, then you place it in the freezer.

The thing is: the B. Caapi + P. Viridis mix are a base. You have a great many additional ingredients that are added, depends on the purpose you are looking for.

An anahuasca mix of syrian rue + M. hostilis root bark will give you a way darker experience.
The M. Hostilis brew was used before going to war while the B. Caapi mix is more "medicinal".

the "knowledge" brew of ayahuasca contains over 24 ingredients, it is not for therapy..it really is something else.
I have tried at least 3 dozen mixes, they are all different.

a mix of B. Caapi + P. Viridis + Chaliponga is not for trauma for example, it is for exploration.

the 24 ingredient mix is for pure exploration, it is used by only experienced ayahuasca users as it is too much for most people.

The idea of the ceremonial use is for you to be part of a group looking for the same result from the brew. You don't mix and match users.
The music, theme and surroundings are also highly controlled in order to get the max out of the "potion" you are using.

Collecting of the plant ingredients at different times of the season/ celestial events also counts.

ayahuasca is not one potion.

The knowledge brew was pretty wild. I was looking for an answer, looking to know how to make a specific plant based medicine which did not have much literature, only folklore.

I took the brew and prepared myself with questions. After the purge I found myself in a place that looked like it was made with stained glass...I encountered what looked like a metallic sphere with various geometric forms coming out of it.

If you use a dry tek like your friend apparently did, the msot dangerous ingredient is 5% vinegar, not dangerous at all. However if you use an A/B extraction that uses lye you have to be careful. I honestly would rather learn the technique myself than trust someone else. Its very simple, too.

This is only somewhat true. Ayahuasca affects people differently and the work you accomplish is not measured by how full your bucket gets. Many people purge a lot because they have an unclean diet and did not eat the proper foods before, or they drank too much. The more often you drink Ayahuasca the less you need to drink.

Make sure to do it by yourself. I'd recommend slouching in bed with back against the wall and in pitch blackness. Makes it way easier to take off. You'll see colors and patterns better in the dark, too. Also, doing like 40 mgs in the dark and exploring candy land is real fun if you wanna do it for recreational purposes.
