I have realised that it is purely the content of your OP that gives it replies. If people can relate to it and are interested in it, they will bump your thread. Before I would try to get people to bump my language/geography threads on /int/ by attaching pictures of scantily-clad women as the OP pic, and I'd be surprised why it wouldn't work. Then I thought of things like using pictures wider than taller would attract more attention, or avoiding using images of high resolution would improve visibility of the thumbnail. But all that is bs. If the content and topic of your thread is interesting and relatable, people will bump it regardless of the image. The lesson learnt is that no one can take interest in Yahoo Answers-tier threads about languages and geography, and this website is intended for fun and memes rather than "serious" discussions.
