>>5586267i think the command point cap doesn't apply for the ai in those two but i'm not sure. also you did take over all the provinces that increase your unit cap right?
>What pissed me off about some of the missions is that I am the type of player who wants to pimp out all the units, research all upgrades, etc.i'm glad you said that because i was about to tell you how to minmax and cheese the game like a faggot if you ever play it in the future. personally i did it because it let me build an all-horseman army for rohan which felt more like the movies than a dumb balanced army comp. here's what you do
>at the start of the mission run out towards the map immediately and find the ai's base>wreck his shit, except for the main building. if you destroy it, the mission ends>camp outside of the base with your doods to stomp on him every time he tries to leave or build up.>start using the barracks to build one unit (presumably you only have room for one unit since you're at near max cap) at a time and send it out to get killed until the barracks reaches level two so you can get all your upgrades.this strat will allow you to always have an army of maxed out, pimped out dudes and always have the mission under control without dealing with enemy spam. for rohan i used a 2/3rds rohirrim 1/3rd horse archer army. if you meet mumakil or massed pikemen, send in the horse archers. otherwise you can trample everything and charging around everywhere is pretty fun. and when you get them as reinforcements like at the black gate and minas tirith it feels kino as fuck.
for gondor i used a mass archer army with flaming arrows. pretty much literally unbeatable and great for the preset missions like minas tirith, black gate, etc. nothing will get close to you.
