>>5614544>>5614544Intertextuality is a thing. People agree more when they see something they recognize. That's not to say I'm going to outright copy someone. Unless I'm writing an original fantasy novel, it's gonna be hard to write something no one has ever written. I'm extremely fond of The Catcher in The Rye and Celine's works, hence I'd like to see what a similar work would look like nowadays with technologies and all. I don't recall anyone saying that The Internet is a wild west by the way. I might be negative about it, but I think I get some points right. Everyone's always so excited about it and uses it as a life line, but no one ever talks about its dark side. I've read of people receiving shit in their mail for being bad indie developers on Steam and in the end quitting their jobs and forgetting about dealing with it ever again. Sure they did remove negative reviews, but people go far beyond reason on The Internet because they can do whatever the fuck they want. Nowadays even showing your face is equal to condemning yourself to death. If people will know you for making bad or controversial content they'd persecute you all life long. There's really plenty to talk about, though unfortunately I lack a wide and complex dictionary, so I might end up looking as repetitive as Holden, except I wouldn't deliberately keep saying goddamn over and over.
