>>5618052>I wonder if it's different for very mountainous regions.it would have been different for norway since it was pretty sparsely inhabited when your people settled there. but for bulgaria i think mountainous settlements were started by shepherds grazing their livestock along the hills. and if it was some strategic mountain pass, the settlements probably got started as military outposts.
