if it's just a hundred shiny balls hiding in the sand somewhere for the sake of collecting i can't bring myself to care, but for things that serve a purpose or are put in intentionally challenging spots i'm really down for them
i remember ori and the blind forest had great examples both of collectibles i liked and collectibles i hated, but i don't remember what they were
