The frog character is supposed to come across as a little scamp, and you can tell his mom knew he was going to buy soup because you can see the skeptical look on her face in panel #2. There's an interesting thing about this frog, if you didn't notice, he schedules soup time.
Actually, looking back on this meme now, I think the frog maybe didn't want to cause mischief. He might have a crippling mental disorder such as OCD that makes it so he absolutely needs to have his soup at his desired time (which I purposely left up to the interpretation of the reader).
I give your meme a good 8/10 by the way. Reminds me of my college days as well.
