We were overtaken by swedish and forced to farm and learn of a world not related to our old ways, then overtaken by the russians to do the same. We were forced to partake in cultures and religions not part of what we were in the beginning. We became independent only to witness cruel murdering inbetween our own ranks. We were forced to have a war with a powerhungry country about things we took no part of. We poisoned our future generations with nazi speed and ass-backwards legislation, not to speak of the lasting effects of the war we so bitterly lost due to a foreign dictator's greed. We were able to pay off the debts, sure, but at this point our country and culture was so cruelly westernized our national anthem was made by a german, our main religion was from italy, our work hours were american and our most loved songs were basically translated covers. What wasn't from the west had roots in the east.
