A intellectual conversation is hard if everyone is anonymous but it does happen to some degree on smaller boards.
It's not very hard to see what is shitposting and what isn't, I personally hold anons true opinion is a very high regard.
If 4chan was suddenly gone, everybody would consider it the best site ever and everything else is complete shit.
