my advice would be to try to try to avoid anything that will increase your symptoms.. try to keep a good sleep schedule, avoid self-medication, meditate a bit every day if you can
try to learn the language that psychiatrists speak without getting too carried away / obsessed with reading random shit online about schizophrenia and related illnesses
work on finding the right psychiatrist for you and developing a good "relationship" with them, I know it's hard to trust them because they are basically "not real doctors" except they are, and though most of them are actually trying to help you (hopefully) they will often prescribe just random shit and have no idea what it's going to do to you, and you have to pay attention to what it does and learn how to describe it as clearly as possible to them, that will make their job easier
