methylphenidate targets dopamine and norepinephrine, and some serotonin subtypes to a lesser extent, mainly by reuptake inhibition.
dexamphetamine mainly targets the dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, through reuptake inhibition as well as synaptic release.
