-A slave ring. Their members are treated like literal slaves. Membership of course is voluntary, but they are brainwashed, and threatened via alienation or legal action if they try to leave. (There is no basis for this legal action, but that doesn't stop them from making threats that gullible people might believe). This is why celebrities join Scientology, VIPs like Tom Cruise are surrounded by cadres of slaves who do anything they ask.
-A secret bank, where rich people make huge "donations" to hide assets, for purposes of tax evasion. Though members of all tiers are required to make large donations simply to progress in rank and spiritually cleanse themselves (or so they believe).
-Dying, thankfully, with more and more information about them being made public, it's harder for them to maintain their front of being a new agey hippy sect, and it's revealed just how stupid their beliefs really are.
