Got my TV License test tomorrow, pretty nervous.

I've watched most of the soap operas and talent shows and memorised a lot for those questions and my mate said they always ask a question on countdown's final conundrum so ive wrote them all on my wrist.

Can't fail the test again or they will take away my TV for 6 months.. anyone passed their test recently and can give me some tips?

You have to pay the the broadcasting licence fee, no matter what kind of television receiver you have or which channels you choose to watch.

The Norwegian Parliament has decided that The broadcasting licence fee must be collected and passed to the NRK.

fee is about 2580 kr

If someone wants to create a television program they need to send a "sample" to the government. then it is shown on a specific day and hour on the television (ts always sundays after church hours) and then those with licenses can go to their city halls and vote

(I still remeber when they put a show called Jersey shore. its simple. you are given a 2 month free pass to watch television. after that you take an exam. you answer questions about the programs you watched during that time. they test how much you were paying attention to them, the tricky questions are the ones about the sunday's programs. those can catch off guard people who had licenses for years.
after you get your license you get your TV connection and you have to retake the test every 2 years. simple, really

No it's 100% real. Here's an example of how the license looks like. Once you pass the exam (At least 60 out of 100 questions correct for a passing grade) you get the license. Once every two years, the exam is about 4 hours and you also have to pay a $120 fee for taking the exam.
