But why are you m-more afraid of being a failure than you are of success?
Look, let me be real for a second. I've failed in my life. A lot. In fact, that's really the only way to learn and advance as a person: to fail and fail hard and learn from it.
Every line of code I write, every person I talk to, every time I deploy something at work, every time I make a thread on 4chan, I am afraid that I will do something wrong. That someone will get hurt, that someone will lose money, that someone will die because I wasn't good enough, because...I couldn't be the person they needed.
Yet I come out here and do it, night after night, day after day.
Because I will get better with every day, with every thread, with every book I read, with every class I take, with every failure I become more able to do what I wish to do.
You are afraid of failure...but failure is on the path to success. Fall down 7 times, get up 8. So what's keeping you afraid?
