I will not blame you from that though. I lived in USA, Southern Oregon for four months (job related). Two months more and I would have had a legal right (solely on my professional green card) to go to LGS and buy any long rifle they had on their shelf. I really wanted that but it never happened.
You are not used to real banter in such an environment. I took a trip to Alaska while I was there. My colleague from New York wanted to argue with a local but our guide grabbed her by a shoulder and said
