It is useful only insofar as it keeps IUOCs from "fiddling around" with the ruleset of the local reality (PMR), when they should be "keeping their eye on the ball" of evolving their consciousness in the context of the situations within the local reality. In other words, manipulating physical reality (telekenesis), or accessing large amounts of information from the larger reality (reading the future & past, accessing past lives), may undermine the materiality of this reality, and so distract from our immediate goals of consciousness evolution, which are, for most of us: focusing on other people in our interpersonal relationships, improving our intent, reducing the expression of fear and ego on a being level, and attending to the feedback we get from other people and (via our intuition, dreams, etc.) from the larger consciousness system.
