Murphy's Law moment

>10th grade
>Learn how to make sushi
>Bring it to school, share with friends, class parties
>Live in a house full of animals, three dogs, three cats, and a rabbit
>Work hard to make sure no fur or hair gets in food
>Wash hands before starting, wipe the counters, clean the rolling mat, the whole deal
>Never had a problem before, been doing it for 6+ months
>People ask how long I've practiced making it, even teacher of Japanese descent is slightly impressed with it
>Not great but not terrible, like 7/10 by a restaurant standard
>One day talking to girl, 10/10 like could legit go into modeling beautiful
>She and a friend joke about me giving her some sushi I had made for lunch
>Decide why not
>Give one to her, she's surprised but takes it
>Take a bite, all good so far
>She stops and we both see it
>A single fucking white cat hair
>She pulls it out and finishes it but I'm melting down on the inside
>Never make sushi for school ever again
Too scared of this situation to try again.
