>>5862321>The image you posted is an anti-communist piece of propaganda.I know. However, its clearly alluding to the notion that democracy and liberalism leads to communism.
>Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité includes French people. Not the entire fucking third world and their babies. Those can fuck off to their own countries and be equal to each other in their own mediocrity.Yeah, but you have to see where im coming from. Pretty much every document ever written detailing the rights of man didnt consider 10% of the population being functionally retarded niggers.
That little synopsis of 3 ideas holds the kernel of all the "liberalism" we see today. Anti-egalitarianism is akin to heresy today and any nation which dares violate liberté or egalité is made a pariah only to then be invaded.
(It is worth nothing that fraternité is entirely absent from modernity and would solve many of these problems)
>You make good points but the idea of the first amoeba is going too far. Its hyperbole for emphasis. The point is that you can always point to a prior event as necessarily causing something by some argument.
>you can't really only blame us as the British, Prussians and Spanish went to war with the just-born French Constitutional KingdomExpecting the powers of the time to not go to war with what was perceived as an anti-religious, anti-monarchical and anti-traditional major nation. If the French Republic had been allowed to persist then you would've seen the springtime of nations 40 years earlier and twice as intense with support from the French.
>got their ass handed to them.I mean, they did also ultimately win. I can see what you mean but you can say the allies got their asses handed to them by the Axis with equal validity.
Frankly, I view people who idealise the First Republic as being almost like those Russians who idealise the USSR simply because it was 'powerful' and whatnot never mind its catastrophic impact.
