Considering emigrating. Not so much because I feel snowflakey and persecuted, but because it's become ridiculously clear that the people of the states really have no interest in coming together to solve problems. Everyone's so into buying the partisanship of everything that it's embarrassing. It's almost like everyone wants to incite another civil war over here.

I just want to live a quiet life. I've had my share of this stupid shit.

Where would I actually be welcome, and not doomed to a lifetime of feeling like an outsider? I'm on board with learning another language or three if that's what it takes.
