It's sad, the people I was contracted for were a family business (which shocked me), mom & pop ran a little industrial plant, had plenty of grown up children but I never saw one of them, those two oldies really lived up to my mental image of Japan, sadly people like them might be the only thing keeping Japan running.
Just my take: but Japan needs to find it's soul again, multicultural "values" seem to be 9/10ths of the issue.
