Well I'll just blather on. I got some rest and spent some time with my wife, she is cooking something in the kitchen, smells bready and I'm listening to music. Got ya all written down in my prayer book and feeling comfy. Thinkin of playing some Zandronum while I eat. Got some Bible reading still to do later today with my wife. Thinking on what we should read today. Thinking its a wild world we live in but Jesus Christ has got it all in his hands. My neurological disease gets me down sometimes but I get back up everyday trusting in my Lord even with my own thorn in my flesh keeping me depending on God and in prayer.

If you believed and trusted Christ as your lord and saviour, if you were aware of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and His ressurection 3 days later and that He died for you at some point in your life , you have eternal life. Yeah, but I wasn't really raised with it desu. I was baptized and had my first communion and all that, but we never went to church except Christmas Eve, and even then we stopped doing that when I was about 10/11

It's not about not wanting to rely on God and more about wanting Him to focus on someone that needs and deserves it more.

Tell me about that. Did you believe in God, because your parents did and told you to do so, or did you believe in Him, because He died for you and promised you eternal life too? Most of catholics are very religious people, but they are not christians. Jesus and His ressurection is the center of christianity, but for some odd reason they chose to worship Mary, when the only thing she said in NT was "listen to my Son". I'm glad you and your family weren't zealous catholics, because it's vary unpleasant to talk with them. Anyway

It might sound like that, because catholics treat christians as heretics. Bible is the complete God's revelation.
