people who come in that early aren't doing a full shift of running anything during the games. it's basically just to make sure everything's in order for when games do start. stocking drinks, cleaning up, picking up stuff to take to the concession stand, etc.
it really is free money because you leave whenever stuff is done, which is on average about 30 minutes, but we get payed for no less than 3 hours for it.
unfortunately i'll probably have to ask them to stop scheduling me for it since it messes up my sleep so bad
