You ever reflect over how when people sometimes are sad because they have to leave a specific location (like a home), it's a preperation or tied in to the fact that you one day have to leave life in it's whole, and therefore all earthly (wordly) locations.

I don't think it's so much that.
Leaving isn't always sad.
When it is, it's because there's a sense of loss. Whether it's of regular contact of people you care about, losing a connection with so many good memories, or knowing that things you hoped would come never now will.
With death, there's only a sense of loss if there were still so many things you had to do. So there's no sadness for the dier at the end of a thoroughly lived life.

Do you think that it's common for someone to die feeling fulfilled, that they have nothing yet to do. Or do you think that death at old age is often brought by too much suffering, the will to be free?

As far as how common it is, I'm really not in a position to say. It's not like being around to gauge how people feel about dying is something I have a bulk of experience on, although probably a bit more than most people my age.
I'm not sure how much age has to do with it, but I'm not sure I fully understand the question.

Can you expand on it?
When one of my friends died, he seemed pretty content and fulfilled. He was a pretty spectacular person though, and he always had an unorthodox perspective on things.

Well I have seen quite a few people in the end of their life. It's not uncommon it seems, that those of old age become rather vurneble, as is rather natural I assume. As you were a child you relied on your parents for nurture, when you grow old you body starts to fail and you often need assistance again. There seems to be a lot of sentimentality in it to me and a lot of pain. A lot of tears shed on the past and perhaps, a decline in cognitive ability might cloud the judgement of the rational. I don't think I will ever recommend myself growing old, in that regard I haven't changed my view. There seems to be fundamental flaw in the notion that life should be kept alive as long as possible, it might only prolong suffering and revert clarity or insight one have previously found in their life. But as you might know, from what we've talked about before, my view on these things might be clouded by my thoughts, as they should be since they are my thoughts.

Are they unfulfilled though?
Or just seeking death as an end to life gone on too long?
Does that suffering and imprisonment within their own body make them yearn for something that can never be fulfilled?
